Sauteed Garlic Asparagus

1 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 bunch fresh asparagus

3 cloves garlic, chopped


  1. 1.Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Add the garlic and asparagus spears; cook for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until asparagus is tender.

Optional:  Add a splash of balsamic vinegar while cooking and sprinkle with parmesan and salt and pepper as soon as you take it out of the skillet.
